HBG-Corp welcomes 2019, a year full of challenges and new projects for the company

HBG-Corp wishes a happy new year and welcomes you in 2019, a year in which new challenges and exciting projects await our company. Moreover, we would like to announce officially the new ownership structure of the company. After a large part of the management team’s efforts was focused on closing down the trading operation, a change of ownership took place in November last year. The companies Eurosca S.A. and HBG Fassaden GmbH were acquired by Fachadas y Envolventes HBG, SL, a company owned by a North American investment fund and a company that specializes in the design and construction of architectural cladding and that has extensive experience in this sector.

Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the agents who have worked with the company during the last few years, as well as those who continue to do so in the present. Their tireless work and utmost dedication have laid the foundations for this important leap, that will enable us to grow as a group, enter in new markets, improve our customer service even further, and become a strong and important part of our industry over the coming years.

For all that, we will continue to pursue very ambitious goals in Europe in the future. In 2019, HBG Europe will not only increase business turnover by 50%, but also make a significant investment in Barcelona for a new design centre to support the entire corporate group.

In relation to that organic growth, the company has set new goals for the new year: the consolidation of the central office in Spain and the maintenance of the German branch to assist the sales markets as a support centre. In addition, with the aim of expanding our presence in Europe by 2021, it will be boosted the development of new markets, placing the focus on Francophone countries. Our corporate strategy will also go through growth in the Anglo-Saxon countries.

As regards HBG America, we would like to inform that 15 February next will be the inauguration date of the new production plant in Querétaro (Mexico City). The installations will have a production capacity of 200,000 m2 of curtain wall per year, 80% of that will go for the USA and Canada, two new markets that have had their own operating companies since the end of 2018.
